FOR MY MOTHERCreated on the 11 May 1996 This week, I wish to highlight a personvery important to me.
 and she is the most excellent mother this side of Terra. She has an amazingly disarming smile (see above). She's got a very weird sense of humour. She says the most non-sequitur things 'just so I won't forget'. Always helping me be a better Christian. How she keeps asking me if there's any email from my siblings. She's always on a lookout for husbands/wives for my elder kin. She saves every little thing we kids wrote since kindergarten. She still makes us bring a water-bottle to work. She still makes me take my cod-liver oil. She genuinely tries to learn about what I'm interested in. Her choice of clothing for my Dad. All the 'heaty-cooling' balanced home meals that she meticulously plans. Fascination with gadgets, 'of course they work'. Her preliminary medical diagnoses of any symptom. Those weird books she buys for little kids. She freaks out over little things. She is totally calm when it really matters. She went into Grand Central Station, NYC at night 'to chat with the people'. She is the 'voice of humanity' in my family.
