The SIMO Camp
The annual SIMO camp, jointly organised by the Singapore Mathematical Society and the Ministry of Education, provides an opportunity for the SIMO trainees to undergo more intensive training and to get to know one another. Held during the school vacation in June, the camp usually lasts for six days, with the Singapore Mathematical Olympiad conducted on the final day. Every year, former SIMO trainees are invited to help in the administration of the camp, either by contributing to the problem-solving sessions and the oral quiz, or by sharing their experiences during the night sessions.

Oral Quiz
The Oral Quiz is an assessment of intuition, sharpness and speed. The quiz consists of 20 to 40 questions, each of which must be completed within a time limit varying from 15 sec to 4 min. The trainees compete in groups of at least 6.
Problem: If a = b, and c = d, what is e?
