Banyan Tree Bintan Golf Club
The Club's distinctive lies with the Greg Norman signature 18-hole championship golf course that takes you through four diverse course terrains. It's a unique challenge for the designer as well as the golfer.

Set on 60 hectares of tropical land fronting the South China Sea, a round of golf leads you through primary forest to natural wetlands, to the beachfront to an abondoned quarry. Hole 17, in particular, plays near the sea with the teebox and green set on the scenic beach of the South China Sea.

The course is also made playable for golfers of all levels. Four or five tees are located per hole, varying the difficulties and offering each golfer a choice of play to match abilities. There is also a driving rane and practice greens for putting and chipping.

The Clubhouse itself has changing rooms, a restaurant, a fully stocked Pro Shop and a Spa for sauna, steam and massage. A Rock Pool, located high on a vista, makes even swimming a magnificent experience.

The accompanying Banyan Tree Resort, however, is located on hills surrounding a bay, and it won the Tourism Asia Award in 1998 for Best Resort in Indonesia. Offering 74 separate luxury villas, some with their own separate plunge pool and jacuzzi, the Resort is a honeymooner's paradise and a privileged vacation spot.

Located just 45 minutes by catamaran from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, the Banyan Tree Golf Club and Resort combines to make this great golfing getaway a class of its own.
