Deep Love by Jeff Chang

You got it! The 1st Cantonese album cut by Jeff, and it's good! One thing is that you've got to understand Cantonese to really enjoy it, but the song tunes are somewhat inferior to the ultimate album, "Generosity". Friends had given me all great feedbacks, so now I'm tellin' u guys just how great it is. Three songs are repeats from "Generosity" (unfortunately). 1. Don't tell him (bu2 yao4 diu4 ta1 shuo1) 2. Too much (guo4 huo3) 3. Forget love (wang4 qing2 wang4 ai4)
Rating: I dun want to lend you!

Distorted Affair by Kelly Chan Wai Lam

This is Kelly's new Cantonese album and she shows her versatility in this creative mix of songs with different styles and tempo. My personal favourite is Who'll Let Go on Track 8. It is a middle-tempo ballad that shows off Kelly's velvety vocals. There are also a number of upbeat fast numbers like None of Your Business and Nobody'll Ever Forget. Her wide range of vocal performance is further illustrated by her slow, sensual number in the title track, Distorted Affair (Track 6). The sole Mandarin song on the album, Beautiful Because of You, on track 12, is also uplifting and refreshing. Kelly is a definite rising star that will give established stars like Faye Wong and Sandy Lam a run for their money.

Generosity by Jeff Chang

It is IMHO the BEST Chinese album in 1995! Achieving a perfect 10 in production, it is quite flawless and is the best selling album!

Jacky Cheung in Concert 1995 by Jacky Cheung

This album really kicks butt. Just like when I was at the concert this past summer. Highly reccommend it! Jacky is king in Hong Kong and Taiwan! Top pick for now!

I Can't Forget You by Jacky Cheung

This is definitely one of the best albums released in 1996. Two top hits and at least another two excellent songs. This is not to say that the rest of the songs are poor, only that the rest are not as good. I'm sure you guys know which two hits I'm talking about, especially if you're a Singaporean. Does I Can't Forget You and Love Letter ring a bell? Yes, these two songs have been on the pop charts in Singapore at the SAME time for several weeks already. I can't see what you can say to that! The other two recommended songs(no, not by some big shot, only my opinions) are Dirt and Troubled Both Ways. Man, this is a really excellent album. Go buy it straightaway!

Jump by L.A. Boyz

This album kicked so much Asian butt, even my momma's rear end hurts. Man, this group rocks so hard, that if any group were as good, it would just be the L.A. Boyz changing their already cool name. Chinese pop is defined by the L.A. Boyz. This CD is so awesome, I went out and bought another CD player just to keep it in 24-7. I wish i was one of the Boyz.

Sweet Words by Tracy Huang

It is excellent! Tracy has performed the songs in the album very well. Especially nice are the songs: Sweet Words and "yue1 shu4". Songs like Sweet Words has a wide range and Tracy handled the low and high notes equally well. Tracy is no doubt experienced. She has not disappointed me. Listen to it, you'll love it!

The color of the night by Jeff Chang

The 1st English album by Jeff is a compilation of oldies which are not quite hot. Undoubtedly, the best song is `The color of the night', which is the last song. You should believe Jeff ain't good at English songs, so buy it only if you are a Jeff freak fan!
Rating: At least the cover looks good...

"What is the English name of his latest album??" by Emil Chau

For the man who sang his best song "Love Will Follow" at the Billboard Awards just recently ... this album is as good as his "Love Will Follow" album. Not only does it have the catch tunes that render even a Chinese "sotong" (blurr) like me captivated, it also has the heart wrenching ballads that make up Emil Chau's distinct style. This man can sing, and write his own songs too!! =) And I'm not kidding. He even has an English song who's lyrics are sure to be caught floating around in your head once you hear them ! Impressed like me? =) Then go get a copy man!!!
